Plans advancing for the new HROA website

Clive Woodman of Live Icom shows members of the HROA Committee possible designs for a refresh of our website.

Our HROA website is seven years old, and the HROA Webmaster Nigel Kingsley is now looking at a major refresh of the website to incorporate many new design features that it will make the site easier to navigate, more attractive to look at, and host many more functions going forward from the end of 2020 and onwards.

Originally designed by Live Icom, by web designer and yachtsman Clive Woodman, members of the HROA committee met at the Royal Thames Yacht Club to hear plans and view newly rebuilt sites by Clive such as the one he has been working on for the Royal Cruising Club (RCC).

The HROA website has become the main way the committee communicates with members, allows members to sign up for events and rallies, and find out information about fellow members and their yachts, as well as access the forum for more detailed conversations about our boats.

Still at the early stages of the rebuilt, Nigel will be overseeing plans to design and launch the new site towards the autumn of this year.
